Sitan’s founder and core team members are graduates of the State Key Laboratory of Advanced Displays and Optoelectronics Technologies at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. The founder, Dr. Zhaojun Liu, is the inventor and an early researcher of active matrix-driven Micro-LED technology. In 2020, he was awarded SID’s Peter Brody Prize for his pioneering work in the field of active-matrix Micro-LED displays.
