From April 24 to 26, Touch Taiwan 2024—Taiwan’s premier smart display exhibition—was held at the Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center, drawing prominent display industry suppliers from around the world. Highlight 1: Micro-LED Microdisplay Solutions for AR/XR

Sitan Semiconductor International spotlighted its all-weather AR/XR glasses microdisplay solution, featuring a mass-production-ready 0.13-inch, 640×480 Micro-LED microdisplay integrated into an AR/XR glasses frame with a diffractive optical waveguide. This microdisplay will enter mass production at Sitan’s Xiamen facility in the second quarter of this year.

Highlight 2: Single-Panel Full-Color Micro-LED Microdisplay

The company also showcased a high-brightness 0.2-inch single-panel full-color Micro-LED microdisplay, designed with arrayed optical waveguides to meet daily wear requirements. Compactness has long been a design challenge for AR/XR devices; this product’s optimized form factor provides AR/XR manufacturers with greater flexibility for device integration.

Highlight 3: Diversified Micro-LED Product Portfolio

In addition, Sitan introduced further Micro-LED innovations, including 0.2-inch single-green plus white-light and 0.45-inch FHD single-green plus white-light displays. These products are well-suited for pixel ambient lighting, in-vehicle micro-projection, AR-HUD, and other applications, demonstrating the versatility and breadth of Sitan’s Micro-LED solutions.
